Assignment #5: Form an Opinion & Share with others

Students will form an opinion on one of the following topics:

§  Reflect on what they have learned about your endangered animal.

§  Should zoos be allowed to continue with captive breeding programs?

§  Should the Alberta Government be making private land owners hand over land to create protected lands to endangered animals’ habitat?

Students will share their opinion with others in one of the various formats:

1.      Formal Letter to the Alberta Government

2.      1 page journal entry

3.      Poster

4.      Video rant
